Barcelona is such a beautiful city
1. PLANT HEAVEN
This is pretty much now what our back porch looks like because of this wonderful photo spot. This is one of those spots you go out of your way for, there really isn’t much else in the direct area you would go to and be careful when you choose your streets to walk down. We accidentally went down a back alleyway, interrupting gambling and street girls. Quite the experience. You’ll find this spot on Carrer de l’Allada Vermella, right across from Pizza Paco. P.S. This is someones real home so please be quiet and respectful.
2. FOOD INSTAGRAM
Food can always be made into a fun Instagram. For Barcelona in particular, you’ll find unique and delicious foods worthy of Instagram at Mercat de la Boqueria, the famous farmers market. Make sure you try the ice cream and juices. Address: La Rambla, 91, 08001 Barcelona, Spain
3. NATURAL BEAUTY
The Park Guell natural area is different from the rest of the park. It seems as if the structures were carved out of one giant stone. Beautiful and seems almost like a separate park all its own.
4. STORE FRONTS
Barcelona storefronts really are this stinking cute. This is just one of the 100+ storefronts I took photos of while in Barcelona.
5. ROOFTOP LOOKOUT
Park Guell is a must see and photograph spot. The colors, the architecture, the scenery is so incredibly beautiful. Plan this stop ahead of time as you must have tickets and they only let so many people in per day. Once you’re in, make your way to the lookout point at the top, here is where you’ll find this exact spot. Address: 08024 Barcelona, Spain
6. BEACH BOOMERANG
You know at some point a boomerang will be entering your Instagram on your trip. Why not with a delicious cocktail on the beaches of Barcelona!?
7. ON TOP OF THE WORLD
Probably my most favorite spot in Barcelona. The bunker del carmel view is one for the books. You can find it at: Carrer de Marià Labèrnia, s/n, 08032 Barcelona, Spain AKA a long bus ride to the top and a trek towards the music and smell of wine.
8. SEASHELL ARCHITECTURE
Rooftop photos are always a good idea, especially on the roof of Gaudi’s Casa Batlló. The entire building is created based on the ocean including turtle shell textures, conch shell ceilings, sea creature scales and more. Definitely opt into the visual phone tour on this one.
BONUS: WHITE WALLS OF BEAUTY
Park Guell has multiple Instagram worth locations, not just the rooftop view from above but also the stunning entryway created from stunning mosaic pieces.
Would love to see your take on these spots! #onebroadsjourney on your Barcelona photos and enjoy your trip!
