Green and Gold in color and Whiskey drenched, could there be a more perfect cocktail for St. Patrick’s Day!? After receiving the Flaviar tasting box of unique spirits I knew the Rye Whiskey would make for the perfect creative cocktail. I wanted to create a drink centered around the Whiskey, rather than a bunch of sweet ingredients with some liquor poured in. So I crafted this delicious Cucumber Whiskey Smash. The mint, lime, and cucumber create a refreshing Spring flavor while the Whiskey takes your soul into that warm and wild gypsy mood.
Green beer is fun, but kick it up a notch and get classy this year with the perfect St. Patty’s Day drink…The Cucumber Whiskey Smash of course. Cheers!

MUST HAVES:
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp cucumber
- 2-3 finely sliced fresh mint leaves
- juice of half a lime
- 1 1/2 oz Rye Whiskey (see link above)
- Mint Simple Syrup Ice Cubes (recipe in link above)
Instructions
- Chop cucumber chunks and slice the mint and place in your glass.
- Smash slightly with the back of a spoon to release juices and aromas.
- Add mint simple syrup ice cubes, whiskey, and lime juice.
- Garnish with a lime and enjoy!
